Brian has 35+ years of experience in law enforcement. He has served as a detective, in the narcotics unit, with the FBI Task Force and as a Training Sergeant. He has run the Family Service Unit in Braintree for the past year overseeing the co-response model and CIT-TTAC programs. He will complete his graduate certificate in “Crisis Response and Behavioral Health” from William James College in 2023.

Michael has 12 years of experience in law enforcement. For the past 4 years, Michael has been working as a Patrol Sergeant, and is the newest member of Family Services Unit. Has served as a department Firearms Instructor. Michael has been a SWAT operator with METRO-LEC for 4 years, where he has responded to hundreds of call-outs for people in crisis.

Police Officer, Braintree Police Department and CIT Law Enforcement Coordinator
Jay has 23 years of experience in law enforcement. He understands how to de-escalate those in crisis while maintaining officer scene and safety. For the past 3 years as a Community Service Officer with the Braintree Family Services Unit, he primarily focused on mental health crisis calls and Post Overdose Response. Additionally, Jay facilitates Recovery Coach training for Law Enforcement Officers through PAARI.

Felicia Cormier
CIT Clinical Coordinator, Braintree PD
Felicia is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who received her master’s degree in social work from Simmons University. Felicia is an outpatient therapist, clinical supervisor and, has been working with individuals who have been involved in the criminal justice system over the past decade. She has been a part of the Braintree Family Service Unit since 2023.

Co-Responder Clinician, Braintree PD
Cassie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University. She has worked with individuals with mental illness who are involved in the criminal justice system for over 10 years and has been an embedded Jail Diversion Co-Responder with the Braintree Police Department since 2021.

Kaily Moran
Co-Responder Clinician, Braintree PD
Kaily is a pre-licensed Social Worker who received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston University. Kaily has a background in Mobile Crisis Intervention, as well as working with youth in the school setting over the past three years. She has been a part of the Braintree FSU since 2024.

Co-Responder Clinician, Milton Police Department
Michelle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Master’s Degree from Boston University. She has worked for over 10 years with individuals with mental illness involved in the criminal justice system. She recently joined the team as a Co-Responder for the Milton Police Department and will continue to support Braintree PD for training.
